Content Types

KnoWEwell publishes:  original content produced by its own staff writers or contract writers; content submitted by credentialed providers, professors, researchers, experts, passionate individuals, and content sponsors; and purchased content. To determine the content type of your submission, please review the following list:  

  • Abstract: a written summary of previously published work. The abstract may be of a clinical or academic study/report, article from a medical or scientific journal, other article, government or corporate report, a professional or scientific conference or similar speaking event, or a podcast.  

  • Book Review: a descriptive and evaluative account of a book. 

  • Clinical Study/Trial: the published results of an evidence-based study or scientifically controlled study of a therapeutic agent involving humans or animals, or conducted in a laboratory setting. 

  • eBook: an electronic version of a printed book that can be read on a computer, smart phone, or similar handheld device.

  • Infographic: graphic visual representation of information, data, or knowledge. 

  • Insight/Original Article: original written content on a given subject that is generally longer than an abstract and references a wide variety of sources (studies, newspaper reporting, government reports, journal articles, individual interviews, etc.). 

  • Healing Success Story: story submitted by practitioners or providers (about themselves or their patients/clients), and individuals showing the power of Regenerative Whole HealthTM approaches, therapies, and practices through personal testimonials. 

  • News Brief: short, condensed item on a recent news event such as the announcement of an upcoming conference, the release of a drug, the findings of a study.  

  • Podcast: episodic series of spoken word digital audio files that a user can download to a personal device.  

  • Product: a written and/or visual description of a product or service.

  • Provider/Practitioner Spotlight: content celebrating the unique healing arts and thought leadership of the professional.

  • Recipe: a set of instructions for preparing a healthy dish, including a list of ingredients.

  • Sponsored Product/Service Content: content of any type produced by product or service companies, organizations, providers, or individuals that discuss a particular health or well-being condition and promote their product, service or solution. 

  • Video: visual file that a user can download to a personal device; videos might be an interview, presentation, or tutorial. 

  • Webinar: type of video that is an online event hosted by an organization/company and broadcast to a select group of individuals via the internet. A previously recorded webinar is submitted to KnoWEwell using its own form, which can be found here.

  • White Paper: in-depth report that informs readers about a complex issue and presents the issuing body’s philosophy on the subject, advocating for a solution to a particular problem.   

      Citations: Where appropriate, written content and written descriptions of other content must cite original source materials.
