Thank you for participating as a speaker for an event hosted and/or produced by KnoWEwell. This knowledge base article will best prepare you for the interview/recording.
It is important to understand that most of our events do not take place using Zoom, rather on our best-in-class platform, designed to offer an outstanding experience. It’s unique rather than complex.
Our goal is to make sure you feel at ease and fully prepared. It’s essential that you grasp how everything functions and that your computer, microphone, and speakers are properly set up and tested for the best performance and attendee experience.
There are two ways you can prepare to ensure your technology is ready to go:
1. Schedule a Tech Check meeting with a KnoWEwell team member. (Please watch the 6 minute video below to familiarize yourself with the platform in advance of the tech check meeting.)
-OR-
2. Watch the video below and test your equipment using a member of your team. If your test does not result in optimal sound or video quality, please schedule a Tech Check.
Important Notes:
- Please ensure that you test the technology (e.g. computer, camera and microphone) that you will be specifically using for the actual recording.
- Only login to the webinar platform using one of the approved browsers: Chrome or Firefox.
- Please complete this process as soon as possible, but at least 14 days prior to your scheduled recording date to provide for ample scheduling time if necessary.
Completing this step is extremely important. If you do not do a Tech Check meeting and you are unable to connect with the host of the show for your presentation, there is a strong possibility that you will be omitted from the event. If your presentation is supposed to air live, not only will your presentation be missing, but it will also impact the level of professionalism for both you and the host.
