Managing your Privacy and Notification Settings in the Community

How to Manage My Community Settings

1. In the Community, click on your icon. Then click on My Settings


General Notifications

You can select the following for:
  1. Language: Currently, Language is available in English only.
  1. Privacy: Select what information of yours will be “Visible to all users"  or  "Visible to System Administrators only". 
  1. Notification: Select what notifications you want to receive from KnoWEwell. 







Community Notifications

You can also customize the notifications in each of your selected topic-specific community groups.


Privacy

1. In the privacy settings you are able to edit the Directory Visibility. This will be the first portion of the privacy settings. Here you can select where you want your profile to be hidden from other users. These options will consist of the main directory and any specific topic groups you have joined (eg. hormone, eye, gut). You may either select them all separately based on your preference. 




Profile Information

You may also adjust the privacy of your Secondary information, Emails, Phones, Addresses, Education, Experience, and Other. You would do so by clicking on the arrow across from the preferred category you want to edit. 
The information in this section would have been added to your profile settings for it to appear in the first place. If you have any of this information on your profile, you may click on the drop-down menu for each, and adjust it based on it you want it visible to All users, Admin only, or to Trusted contacts. 


Save your settings

Once you are done updating your privacy settings, scroll down to the end of the page and make sure you select the blue "Save" button.
