Creating Your Profile in KnoWEwell Community


Your Profile Form

Your personal profile in the KnoWEwell Community is the first and most important step of your journey to find better health.  A robust profile ensures your KnoWEwell Community is filled with like-minded individuals who can assist you in connecting with information and providers. 

1. Once you subscribe to KnoWEwell, you will receive an email asking you to activate your membership. This prompts you to create a username and a password. Then you may begin creating your own profile! Here you will simply enter all the information that applies to you or topics that interest you. At the end. Click Log-in. 
E.g. Therapies and Treatments.  Select the therapies and treatments you practice or would like to learn more about from the drop-down menu.  





Creating Your Profile

1. To start, click "Edit my profile" on the right-hand side under the butterfly cover image. 



2. Here, you will be able to change your profile picture and cover photo by clicking on the blue 'Edit Image' buttons. Feel free to add a picture of yourself or something that encompasses you! Then you will be able to add your birthday and edit your name and location. You also will want to add a profile headline which are just a few words that describe you!




3. Don't forget to click save at the end! This will then take to back to your profile page. Here you can edit your About, Contact, Provider Affiliations & Individual Favorites, Education, and Experience. To edit any of these categories, you will click on 'Edit,' which will be on the right-hand side of each section. Do not forget to click the blue Save button after you edit each section.
- The About category contains the information you added when first creating your profile. Now you may add more information like a Summary about yourself and much more. 
- Provider Affiliations and Individual Favorites will include places you love and may be affiliated with. This will allow you to connect with others if you have any of these in common!
- Experience will include where you have worked or do work now. Or places you have volunteered!
-Education will include where you have studied. 





Add information in the Profile Portfolio

1. To add to your profile portfolio click on the blue button that says "Go to Portfolio."


2. Here you will be able to create a folder, file, external link, or add an article. To do so, click on whichever box you desire to add or update to. Then once you have finished adding your work/content don't forget to add/publish it, so your work can be seen by others!
