Convert Individual Membership to Provider Membership

If you created a KnoWEwell account as an Individual but would like to be found in the community (Hub) as a Provider, these are the steps to follow. (Scroll to the bottom if you prefer to watch a video demo.)

1.      Log into https://knowewell.com and type in your username and password if not already logged in. (Hint: username is not always your email address). If you have trouble logging in, use this reference to reset your username or password.

2.      If you're not already at the Manage Membership page, click the Upgrade tab.


3.      Click the Convert to Provider button


4.      The next step is to click the Proceed button. Be advised, once you click the proceed button, your current subscription will be cancelled. 
Prior to clicking this button, be aware of the following:
  1. If you are using a coupon for the Provider membership, be sure to have the coupon code handy.
  2. Even if you are using a coupon that will cover the entire cost of the membership, you will need a credit card to complete the conversion. You card, however, will NOT be charged, provided the balance of the cart is $0.00


5.      Make the membership selection of your choice and click the green Convert button.



6.      On the Order Summary page, please provide your credit card (if not using PayPal) and billing information (even if using a coupon). If you have a coupon, be sure to add the coupon code in the box and click Apply.



7.      Wait until your Provider account has completed being created before leaving that page.



8a.      This next step can take up to 15-20 minutes, which is the Provider Profile Form. This is the form that helps KnoWEwell verify your credentials as a Provider so you can receive the proper badge, whether it be Screened, Check or Verified (based on your membership type). If you cannot complete these forms in one sitting, please click the Save button at the bottom of the page. You will receive an email with a link to continue where you left off. Be sure to check your inbox for the email before leaving this page. 



8b.      In some cases, we will be able to admit a provider into the Hub prior to them completing their forms. However, the badge those providers will have on their profile will be Screening Pending, and that will be their badge until they complete their forms.
      
      To complete the provider form once already in the Hub, click the link you received in the email when you started the forms if you already started them, OR, click the Upgrade button and then the blue button that reads, "Start Here," which will have you start the forms from the beginning.
